The BSides Reykjavík 2027 Call for Papers is now open!
Join us in Reykjavík on 17 March 2027 and share your knowledge, research, experiences, and ideas with Iceland’s cybersecurity community.
We’re looking for a great mix of introductory and advanced talks and workshops. Whether you’ve uncovered a new vulnerability, have practical lessons from the field, want to challenge an industry best practice, or can bring a fresh perspective to an old favourite, we want to hear from you.
New speaker? Please submit! BSides Reykjavík is a friendly community and a great place to get started with public speaking. If you’re unsure whether your idea is suitable or need help with your proposal, reach out to us — we’re happy to help.
What we’re looking for
We value practical, well-researched and thought-provoking submissions. Tell us clearly what you want to share and what attendees will take away from your session.
Your submission should include your presentation or workshop title, short abstract, detailed description, duration, speaker bio, name or nickname and social handle, and a photo or avatar.
Presentations must be delivered in English. Sales pitches, product marketing and submissions that don’t comply with our Code of Conduct will not be accepted. Please note that travel and accommodation expenses are not covered.
Submissions are reviewed by an independent CFP Review Panel.
Important dates
24 September 2026, 08:00 UTC — CFP opens
22 October 2026 — CFP closes
12 November 2026 — First round of acceptances
26 November 2026 — Unconfirmed acceptances are released and second round begins
10 December 2026 — Final round, if places remain
If you’re selected, keep an eye on the email address associated with your submission. Places that aren’t confirmed by the deadline may be offered to speakers on the waiting list.
